Joey Monteleone has earned national attention as he’s fished his fished, guide and instructed all across North America. Among Monteleone’s major accomplishments are catching over 20,000 bass in the last 2 decades and documented catches of more than 1000 trophy bass over five pounds in his career.
Expert at catching all species of bass anywhere they swim as well as crappie, bluegill, trout or catfish Monteleone utilizes all types of tackle and multiple techniques to land BIG fish; he’s caught fish from remote lakes in Mexico to the wilderness areas of the Canadian Quetico and virtually everywhere in between.
Sharing all his secrets on the pages of BASSMASTER, IN-FISHERMAN, BASSIN’ magazine and others, Joey has been the subject of dozens of stories and has made numerous national TV appearances as well as serving currently as a “guide” on the award winning show TENNESSEE’S WILD SIDE. Long time outdoor editor on legendary radio station 650 WSM, his INSIDE THE OUTDOORS is a popular weekly feature enjoying over 15 years of on air advice to fishermen, hunters and outdoorsmen.
Monteleone focuses on understanding the fish, its habits and habitat, while combining a common sense approach plus simple systems to finding and fooling fish. With twenty years of seminar experience to his credit Joey Monteleone is a fixture with National Marine Manufacturers shows, ESPN’s Bass University and several independent outdoor show promoters.
At home on lakes, rivers, ponds and streams, under all kinds of weather and water conditions, Monteleone’s topics include: “How to Stock a Tackle Box,” “Choosing and Using Equipment,” “BIG BASS tackle and techniques,” “How to Catch Your Limit of Fun” and many, many more subjects.
