From my earliest memories, my Dad carried me on his shoulders through weeds taller than I was to a creek or river to spend the day or night fishing. Every fish I caught then was exciting, and now many years and fishing trips later it’s just as exciting.
If you’re a novice or more experienced angler my goal is to provide you with a safe and exciting fishing trip for Largemouth, Smallmouth and Spotted Bass on Mid-Central Tennessee lakes and rivers.
I’m a full time guide, fishing over 150 days per year and sole owner of Tennessee Bass Guides Inc.
I guide for Largemouth Bass on the famous Old Hickory Lake here in Nashville. It’s not unusual to catch 30 or more Largemouth on any given day on this lake with the real possibility of hanging a very big fish along the way.
I also guide Tim’s Ford Lake in Tullahoma Tennessee which is renowned for it’s Smallmouth Bass population. Where Old Hickory is a river lake with defined river channels, grass, and unlimited shallow water, Tim’s is a semi-clear deep lake with miles and miles of chunk rock banks and and channel bluffs and sloping points.
Depending on the season these bronze beauties can be caught on everything from “Top Water” to “Float & Fly.” The thrill of seeing a legitimate trophy Smallmouth come up from deep water to crash your bait is almost indescribable.
For maximum comfort and fish ability I can accommodate two anglers in my 2004 19ft 6in Strato’s Bass boat, but can provide an additional guide and boat for larger parties and corporate events.
I use only the best in equipment such as Shimano Reels and AllPro Rods and the best artificial baits available.
I’ll be happy to answer any questions that you might have - we have some great fisheries here in Tennessee. I look forward fishing with you.
